These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through Kimberley Jade Art including online shop orders, email bookings, invoices, bank transfers and any other payment method. By placing an order, you agree to the policies outlined below.

My artwork is created with care, intention, and a deep respect for the stories behind each piece. These terms ensure clarity, fairness and a smooth experience for both of us.


Customer Experience

Every commission is personal. I aim to make the process warm, enjoyable and transparent from start to finish. If you ever feel unsure about anything, please reach out, communication is a key part of the experience.

I reserve the right to decline a commission if:

• The subject matter is inappropriate
• The reference photos are unsuitable
• The request falls outside my artistic style or values
• I feel I cannot meet the expectations for the piece


My priority is always to create artwork that reflects my best craftsmanship and honours your story.


Artwork, Copyright & Usage

All artwork, including custom commissions, is created by and remains the intellectual property of Kimberley Jade Art.

This includes:

• Copyright
• Reproduction rights
• The right to display the artwork in my portfolio, website, social media, printed materials, exhibitions, and promotional content


By commissioning me, you grant permission for your reference photos to be used to create the artwork.

Privacy Requests

If you prefer your artwork not to be shared publicly, this must be requested before booking.
Because my portfolio is essential to my business, I may decline commissions that cannot be shown.

If the artwork is a gift and needs to remain private until a specific date, simply let me know, I’m always happy to accommodate this.


Turnaround Time

All artwork is hand‑painted with professional materials and a high level of detail. This process takes time.

When booking, you acknowledge that:

• There is no guaranteed deadline
• Your artwork will be completed in the order it is booked
• Waiting times vary depending on my schedule and workload


If my waiting list ever approaches a two‑year timeframe, I will temporarily close bookings to maintain quality and realistic timescales.


Cancellations & Refunds

All purchases are non‑refundable, including deposits.

Deposits

A deposit secures your place in my schedule and is non‑refundable under all circumstances.

If you choose not to proceed, whether the artwork is started, completed, or untouched, no refund will be issued.

If you cancel:

• The artwork (if started or completed) will be stored safely for 12 months
• After 12 months, the artwork becomes my property


If I Cannot Complete Your Commission

In the rare event that I am unable to fulfil your commission, you will receive a full refund.

Refunds are usually issued via bank transfer or returned to the original payment method when possible.


Shipping

I currently ship Worldwide. A quote will be provided for shipping outside of the UK mainland (England).

You are responsible for providing the correct shipping address at checkout or via email.
If an incorrect address is supplied and the parcel is delivered there, no refund or replacement will be issued.

If I accidentally ship to an address other than the one you provided, you may choose:

• A full refund, or
• A replacement artwork (added to the end of my waiting list)


All parcels are:

• Securely packaged
• Fully insured for the full value of the artwork
• Sent via Royal Mail


Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays.

Lost Parcels

If a parcel is lost:

• A compensation claim will be submitted with the courier
• Refunds are issued only after the claim is accepted
• This process may take several weeks depending on the courier’s investigation


You will be updated throughout the process.


Returns & Damages

All artworks are custom-made and therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.

If Your Artwork Arrives Damaged

You must:

• Photograph the damage
• Contact me within 3 days of delivery


A compensation claim will be submitted with the courier. Refunds are issued only after the claim is accepted.


Gift Vouchers

• Dispatched within 3 working days
• Valid for 1 year
• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Can be used toward any product or commission available at the time of redemption (excluding gift vouchers)


Prices may increase over time, so it’s recommended to redeem vouchers promptly.

Pricing

My prices reflect:

• Professional, archival‑quality materials
• Time‑intensive craftsmanship
• Artistic development
• Rising material costs
• The premium nature of hand‑painted artwork
